It's about time that AOL took ICQ back to the basics. Features include Instant Messaging, SMS, and File transfer. Security features are similar to ICQ, allowing you to add users to an ignore list, and AntiSpam features which allow you to receive only messages from users on your contact list (you must set this yourself).
