FastFox Text Expander is an easy to use typing expansion utility that can create and store keyboard shortcuts that, when pressed, will expand to lines of text. FastFox allows the user to define keywords that become the shortcuts. When FastFox sees that a keyword has been typed by the user that keyword will then be replaced by the expanded text. This shorthand software is ideal for people who are continually typing the same thing over and over. FastFox dramatically reduces the time spent typing.
- Features:
- Expands keyboard shortcuts like "QBF" into "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog".
- Works while you type in almost any program.
- Unlimited number of shortcuts can be entered so you can store all the expressions you type regularly.
- Unlimited length of expanded text.
- Expanded text can be simple text or in rich text format.
- Entire documents can be linked to a shortcut in rich text format.
- Plays a soft audio tone when a keyword has been matched and replaced as audio feedback that you typed a shortcut.
- Ability to import text from files or paste from the clipboard.
- Simple and intuitive user interface for day-to-day operation.

This handy utility sits in the system tray and allows you to control special key behavior. You can either disarm the Windows Logo keys completely or in full-screen applications only, e.g. in games. The program lets you make your Caps and Num Lock buttons safer. No need to disable them completely. You can choose from "Doubleclick" or "Click and hold" modes. This is especially important for wireless keyboards that have no Caps and Num Lock indicators. "Insert" can be automatically disabled in text editors, yet, it can continue to function in combinations (Ctrl+Ins, Shift+Ins etc.) Power Keys and F-Lock can be configured as well. Keyboard Express is a Windows keyboard macro utility. It allows you to issue just about any series of keystrokes to your windows applications with the touch of a key. These keystrokes can manually be entered in and assigned to over 700 hot keys. In addition, keystrokes can be captured on the fly as you are typing in one of your Windows applications. System date and times, symbols and more can be added for insertion into applications. Program activation, sound, repeats, delays, pauses and more can be included in your macros. If you receive a number of e-mail messages, each requiring a similar response (price quotes, customer support, general inquiries, etc.), don't re-type the same response over and over again. Type it once, assign a hot key and each time that response is required, just press the appropriate hot key. Your response is automatically placed into your e-mail reply. No more time consuming e-mail responses. Use Keyboard Express to create e-mail taglines. Instead of retyping or copying/pasting after each e-mail response, press a hot key to insert the tagline. If you enjoy entering Internet contests but find filling out the forms to be tedious, Keyboard Express will speed the process. Create hot keys for your favorite sweepstakes. Each time you return, press the hot key and the form is completed. No more typing out name, address, phone, e-mail, miscellaneous info, etc. More info-Insight Software Solutions.
